The Musicians

Julie Bougher, VIOLINIST
 
Julie has been playing the violin since the age of 5. She holds her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Temple University and has performed with orchestras and ensembles throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
Julie is a member of the Delaware Symphony, Allentown Symphony, and Riverside Symphonia and regularly performs with the Philly Pops, and other ensembles.
She is actively involved in string pedagogy, having participated in the Starling-DeLay Symposium at The Juilliard School and taught at Temple University, where she was also Artist in Residence.
In addition, Julie is registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and teaches privately.
James Finegan, VIOLINIST

James Finegan was born and raised in Philadelphia and began his violin studies at the age of ten. He is a member of the Delaware and Allentown Symphonies, and is an active freelance musician in the Philadelphia area, performing with the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Philly Pops, and other area groups. James has participated in numerous summer festivals, including the National Orchestral Institute, AIMS in Graz, Spoleto USA, and the National Repertory Orchestra, with which he was a featured soloist.

He currently spends his summers performing with the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, CO. James is a graduate of Temple University, studying with William dePasquale. He is presently the Middle and Upper School Orchestra Director at the Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, PA.

Steven Heitlinger, VIOLIST
 

Steven is a graduate of Temple University, and also holds degrees from the University of Maryland and Arizona State University.

He has toured the United States and Europe with many orchestras, and he appears regularly as a chamber musician in the Philadelphia area.

Steven is currently on the faculty of Temple University's Music Preparatory Division where he teaches violin and viola.

Andrea Weber, CELLIST  

Andrea is a cello teacher and freelance musician in the Philadelphia area. She holds a B. M. from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music degree from Temple University. She performs regularly with Symphony in C and the Lancaster Symphony and has been a member of the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Symphony Orchestra.

Andrea enjoys teaching students of all levels and currently teaches at the LEAP Academy in Camden, Musicopia Orchestra and in a private studio.

When she is not playing classical music, she enjoys playing with her band.
